SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 includes two levels: SSC Stenographer CBT Exam 2026 and SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026.

The first level will be a a computer-based exam and consists of 200 objective questions conducted for a total of 200 marks for a duration of 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwBD candidates).

This Computer Based Exam of SSC Stenographer Exam 2026 consists of 3 sections namely General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Language and Comprehension. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Computer Based Exam of the SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026.

There will be a sectional timing for each part in the SSC Stenographer CBT Exam 2026.

Candidates who clear the SSC Stenographer Paper I Exam 2026 will be shortlisted to attend the SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026.
