SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2026
The selection process for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 includes two levels: SSC Stenographer CBT Exam 2026 and SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026.
The first level will be a a computer-based exam and consists of 200 objective questions conducted for a total of 200 marks for a duration of 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwBD candidates).
This Computer Based Exam of SSC Stenographer Exam 2026 consists of 3 sections namely General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Language and Comprehension. Stenographer Grade D will be a Group C post and will have a pay scale of ₹5200 to ₹20,200 with a pay band of ₹2400 (Pay Grade 1).
