The Staff Selection Commission has announced few major changes and reforms for the upcoming SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025 in September 2025.
In an exclusive interview to the news media, SSC Chairman S. Gopalakrishnan has accepted that SSC candidates have faced numerous problems in earlier SSC recruitment exams such as computer glitches, non-working devices, Aadhaar verification delays and far-off exam centres for candidates.
Staff Selection Commission is committed to solving the persisting issues and make the SSC Exam Recruitment Process a lot more smoother introducing some new reforms and counter measures.
These include conducting the exam in single shift, improve exam centre allocation for candidates (Within 100 km radius of the candidate’s address), introducing a fair scoring system and making Aadhaar verification mandatory. These measures are set make the SSC Recruitment Selection Process seen more transparent and convenient for all candidates aspiring to attend the upcoming SSC Exams across India.

The First Stage Computer Based Test or the SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2025 is a crucial screening examination that is common for all Combined Graduate Level posts notified under SSC CGL Exam 2025 Official Notification for14582 vacancies for the upcoming SSC CGL Exam 2025 Selection Process.
This SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2025, to be held from 12 September 2025 from 26 September 2025, consists of four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.
The SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2025 comprises a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks each.
