The selection process for the SSC Selection Post 2026 includes three separate Computer Based Exams of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions for the posts with minimum educational qualification of Matriculation (10th) level, Higher Secondary (12th) Level and Graduation & above levels.
This computer-based exam will consist of 100 MCQ questions conducted for a total of 200 marks for a duration of 60 minutes (80 minutes for PwBD candidates).
This Computer Based Exam consists of 4 subjects namely General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) and English Language (Basic Knowledge).
There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in the Computer Based Exam of the SSC Selection Post 2026.
There will be a sectional timing for each section in the SSC Selection Post Exam 2026 with 15 minutes sectional timing for each section.
This Computer Based Exam will be conducted only in English and Hindi and will use normalised scores to select candidates.
Skill tests like Typing or Data Entry or Computer Proficiency Test, etc., where prescribed in the Essential Qualification will be of qualifying nature (unless specified by SSC).
