Paper I and Paper II of the SSC JE Exam Selection Process 2025 are computer based exams (CBEs). Paper I and Paper II of the SSC JE Exam will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions (MCQs). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answers in Paper I CBE Exam and 1 mark for each wrong answers in Paper II CBE Exam. Normalisation of marks will be done to determine the final merit list and cu-off marks.
The SSC JE Exam 2025 for Paper I and Paper II will be a computer-based exams (CBEs).
The Paper I CBE will consist of the following subjects:

2.General Awareness
3.Part A – General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or Part B – General Engineering (Electrical) or Part C – General Engineering (Mechanical)
The number of questions in Paper I CBE will be 200 and the number of marks will also be 200. The duration of the Paper I CBE will be 2 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Paper I CBE.
Paper II CBE Exam will consist of the following subjects:
