RRB Technician Exam 2025 Official Notification is expected to be released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on its website on 28 June 2025. RRB has released the RRB Technician Exam Short Notice with the RRB Technician 2025 Vacancies, RRB Technician Important Dates 2025, RRB Technician Posts 2025, RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria, etc. on 16 June 2025. A total of 6180 RRB Technician vacancies will be filled through this RRB Technician Exam 2025 for which online applications will begin from 28 June 2025 onwards.
RRB Technician Exam 2025
RRB Technician Exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Technicians in various grades (usually Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III) and categories in the Indian Railways. Usually, RRB Technician Exam is announced by the RRB to recruit for the posts of Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III in various RRBs and Railway Zones.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Union Ministry of Railways, recruits Group C and Group D non-gazetted civil service and engineering posts in the Indian Railways.
This RRB Technician Exam is a computer-based examination (CBE) for the recruitment of Technicians conducted at regular intervals over the years. The RRB Technician Exam is considered to be a golden opportunity to enter into a career in the Indian Railways by many RRB Exam aspirants.
The Technician (Grade III) position in the Indian Railways recruited through the RRB Technician Exam is a Level 2 post (according to the 7th Pay Commission) and has a starting salary of ₹ 19,900. The Technician (Grade I – Signal) position is a Level 2 post and has a starting salary of ₹29,200.

RRB Technician Exam 2025 Official Recruitment Notification announcement for the direct recruitment of Technician Grade I (Signal) and various categories of Technician (Grade III) in the Indian Railways was released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) through a Short Notice on 16 June 2025. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the detailed centralised employment notice through the CEN.NO: 02/2025 (Technician) for the recruitment of Technician (Grade I – Signal) and Technician (Grade III) through RRB Technician Exam Official Notification 2025 which can be accessed on the official RRB website from 28 June 2025.
An Indicative Short Notice for the recruitment of Technician (Grade I – Signal) and Technician (Grade III) for the RRB Technician Exam 2025 in the Employment News was announced on 16 June 2025 by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
The RRB has invited applications from eligible candidates for the RRB Technician Exam 2025 for a total of 6180+ Technician vacancies for various RRBs and Railways Zones in the Indian Railways. Candidates applying for the RRB Technician Exam 2025 must be a citizen of India (or) a subject of Nepal (or) a subject of Bhutan (or) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India (or) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Interested candidates who are applying for the RRB Technician Exam 2025 for the recruitment of Technician (Grade I – Signal) in the Indian Railways should be between 18 years and 36 years.

RRB Technician Exam 2025: Salary
The post of Technician (Grade I – Signal) is pay level 5 post in the Indian Railways and has an initial salary of ₹29,200. The post of Technician (Grade III) is a pay level 2 post with an initial salary of ₹19,900 in the Indian Railways.
