RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam 2025: Exam Pattern

The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam or the First Stage CBT of the RRB NTPC Graduate Exam 2025 is a screening exam. This RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam 2025 is common for all Graduate level posts.

This CBT 1 stage is conducted to shortlist eligible candidates for the Second Stage CBT or the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam based on their normalised marks and merit.

This First Stage of CBT or the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam is an online exam that is conducted for a total of 100 marks. Candidates have to complete answering 100 questions in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam within 90 minutes. The exam duration will be 120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with scribe.

The marks scored in RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 or the First Stage of CBT in NTPC will not be counted while preparing the final merit list. The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Syllabus 2025 incudes 3 subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness.

It is to be noted by the RRB NTPC Graduate Exam 2025 candidates that the standard of questions for the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam will generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the NTPC Graduate Level Posts. Questions in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam 2025 will be objective type questions with multiple choice answers.

There will be negative marking of 1/3^rd marks for each wrong answer in RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam 2025. There will also be normalisation of marks in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam held in multiple shifts.

The RRB NTPC Graduate 2025 Second Stage CBT Exam or the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam is also an online exam. Candidates who clear the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 Exam 2025 will be shortlisted for the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025.

The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025 consists of 3 major subjects. It consists of Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness.

The total duration of the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025 will be 90 minutes. It will consist of a total of 120 questions and for a total of 120 marks. The exam duration will be 120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with scribe.

There will be negative marking of 1/3^rd marks for each wrong answer in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025. There will also be normalisation of marks done for RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025 held in multiple shifts.

The minimum pass percentage in Part A of the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025 for eligibility will be 40 per cent for UR & EWS, 30 per cent for OBC (NCL), 30 per cent for SC and 25 percent for ST candidates.

The normalised marks obtained by the candidate in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025 will be used to shortlist candidates for document verification for posts without a Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test. For posts with such skill tests, the normalised marks will be used to shortlist candidates for the respective tests (CBAT/TST).

RRB NTPC Graduate Exam 2025: Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

The RRB NTPC Graduate CBAT Exam 2025 is a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) designed to assess candidates' mental abilities, psychometric skills and decision-making abilities. RRB NTPC Graduate CBAT Exam 2025 will be conducted for only for candidates who have opted for Station Master Post as their preference after qualifying the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025.

This RRB NTPC Graduate CBAT Exam 2025 is qualifying in nature, meaning candidates must meet the required standard but no negative marks are deducted for wrong answers. The CBAT will be only in English and Hindi.

To qualify in this RRB NTPC Graduate CBAT Exam 2025, candidates must secure a minimum of 42 marks in each of test batteries, each of which comes with a specific time limit.

Candidates equal to 8 times the number of Station Master vacancies for each notified community or category will be shortlisted for CBAT based on the candidates’ score in the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2025.
