IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates who clear the IBPS PO Prelims 2026 will be called to attend the IBPS PO Mains 2026.

The IBPS PO Mains 2026 will consist of the following four sections in the objective paper:

• Reasoning – 60 marks
• General / Economy / Banking Awareness / Digital / Financial Awareness including RBI Circulars – 60 marks
• English Language – 20 marks
• Data Analysis & Interpretation – 60 marks

The IBPS PO Mains 2026 will be an online objective and descriptive test. The objective test will be conducted for 170 questions for a total of 200 marks. The descriptive section will consist of an essay and comprehension questions for 25 marks.

The IBPS PO Mains 2026 will have sectional timing in the objective test.

Candidates who qualify the IBPS PO Mains 2026 will be called for a Personality Test (self-report). Personality profile of the candidates will be placed before the IBPS PO Interview Panel.

The IBPS PO Personality Test for CRP-PO/MT-XVI will be non-qualifying in nature. Appearing in the Personality Test will be mandatory for being eligible to appear in the IBPS PO Interview.

The total marks in the IBPS PO Interview 2026 will be 100 marks.

The combined final score of the candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the IBPS PO Mains 2026 and IBPS PO Interview 2026 of CRP-PO/MT-XVI.
