This Computer Based Test for the Coal India CIL MT Recruitment 2026 will be a Computer Based test.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the CIL MT CBT 2026.

The minimum qualifying marks in Part and Part II of the CIL MT CBT Exam 2026 shall be 40 per cent and overall minimum qualifying marks in both Part I and Part II combined shall be 40 per cent for General candidates.

For OBC candidates, there shall be relaxation in Qualifying marks and the minimum qualifying marks in each paper shall be 35 per cent and overall minimum qualifying marks in both the papers combined for SC / ST / PwBD shall be 30 per cent.

CIL MT Salary 2026

The candidates shortlisted for the post of Coal India CIL MT in various streams will be recruited in the E1 Grade in the scale of pay given in the following table:

Selected candidates will be placed as a Management Trainee in E1 grade in the scale of pay of ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000 with the initial basic pay being ₹60,000 per month during the training period. Besides basic pay, candidates will also be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, Perquisites and allowances under cafeteria approach including Performance Related Pay (PRP) as applicable.

They will also get other benefits such as Leave, Medical Facilities, CMPF, CMPS, Gratuity, CIL Executive Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, etc. will be admissible as per extant rules.

Candidates will be required to serve the company for a minimum period of 60 months from the date of joining Coal India Limited (CIL). The candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of three lakh rupees at the time of joining. A sum of ₹5000 per month will be deducted from the salary of MTs towards bond money which will be refunded without interest after successful completion of 60 months of service.
